Tempo: The National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica

In 1940, for Costa Rica to have its own symphony orchestra seemed like a dream: few trained musicians, few resources, and no academy made it impossible to imagine it. However, it was created. 75 years later, one of the main cultural institutions in the country has endured controversial renovations, economic crises, and the absence of leaders, but always focused on excellence. In this documentary, the glories and tribulations of the National Symphony Orchestra are examined in the voices of its protagonists.
